Course Overview
This course seeks to offer a rounded view of the development and operation of the international system that encompasses the interconnecting worlds of international politics, law and economics.
You will learn about relations theory, international politics and the development of states, international law and legal institutions as well as security studies. This MA will enable you to combine your understanding of the core modules in interdisciplinary research – a wider and more inclusive framework for understanding international relations and one which corresponds more closely to the interconnectedness of the real world.

You’ll be assessed using a variety of methods, including individual and group presentations, coursework problem sets, mini-projects, placement employer assessment, in-class tests, seen and unseen exams.
Entry requirements
- UK Honors Degree or equivalent with a class of 2nd lower or better
- Full professional qualification with a minimum of 3 years of work experience
- Candidates with extensive work experience and currently in a leadership position maybe given entry at the discretion of the university..
Any application that does not fit into the above criteria will be considered by the University on a case by case basis. Please note that acceptance into the course is at the sole discretion of LMU International Admissions.
